What do my fellow Americans think about this haha.

I'm guessing the most unknown state is probably something like West Virginia...

Probably also a safe bet to say something like South Dakota, Nebraska... who knows.

All I know is that I'm intrigued by the coal mines.

I was talking to a friend from Canada once and she hadn't ever heard of Maryland. I suppose that certain places in countries are more widely recognized or spoken of than others. Like, I know of some provinces in Canada or cities or regions in other countries, but there is no way I would be able to name them all.

I feel like I know places that I hear of consistently, or at least more than once. Also, when I learn specific things about a place I tend to remember it.

I'd suppose a couple of other states alot of people never heard of would be Indiana,Nebraska. I dunno why but those states never get mentioned that much. Everybody knows about Cali,New York, Texas, Florida and of course Washington DC which are probably the most known around the world maybe even ****** now since all those reality shows have been focused on New ******

What is wrong with the word Jeersey?? Is it a bad word in anothe language

Well a lot of people don't know where Michigan is... but I'd have to say that Alabama is even less well known.

Rhode Island. smallest state and little happens there. West Virginia is one of the most beautiful states along with Wyoming. There is such diverse beauty AND amazing dialect differences from state to state.

In Louisiana we have a blend of french, spanish and native american influences in lifestyle, food and language.
