In Germany they teach British English.
As for me, it's much easier to understand British English than American.

hi, I'm from Vietnam. I prefer American accent. I find it hard to pronounce in British accent though it sounds really great.

I don't know what accent I'm using now. Maybe combining with America and British.
In my place (Indonesia), most important you speak English and others understand what you try to say.

Don't be so shy to practice your English words, were not gonna laugh, us native English speakers would rather help you than make fun of you. We understand that there are alot of words that can be hard to pronounce. Not to mention the slang you'll more likely hear when speaking to people who speak English as there main language.

I am from China, i don't know the exact accent of mine, maybe my pronunciation is a hybird type of both the 2 accents(my teachers is British accent but i saw many American TV soap operas). I prefer to use American accent since it is very cool and it is a sweet voice.
