December 2010 Update: Becoming "Verified" is now required if you want to send private messages to other JuJu members or if you want to become a VIP member on JuJu. Our community now has 3 levels of membership:
1. Standard User (no blogs, no private messages, no chat, no games)
2. Verified User (blogs, messages, no chat, no games)
3. VIP User (blogs, messages, chat, games... everything!)
Here is a full explanation of the various membership levels on JuJu
We are excited about this new feature, because it is simple and fun, and makes JuJu safer!
If you want to have a badge on your profile that says "Verified Member" we don't need your birth papers, government papers, etc... all we need is for you to take a photo of yourself with a small sign that says "Hello JuJu" or something like that.
This feature shows other members on JuJu that your photo was taken by yourself, for yourself, and especially for you JuJu account. In other words, it proves that you are human, and not a fake person or criminal scammer.
This will help to further increase our community's reputation and security, and it will show other members that you are serious about your profile and that you respect other people (you are not here to spam, scam, or harass users).
Also, you should try to draw a little "swirly" @ symbol or something similar on your paper, so that we can be sure a computer did not generate the font on your greeting card.
(Note: please be sure to make your greeting card by hand-written text only, and don't use a computer or printer!)
After you upload your new profile photo, our team will automatically review and update your JuJu account.
(Note: please don't ever remove your Verified photo from your JuJu account... it does not need to be your main profile picture, however it needs to stay in one of your photo albums for future reference.)
Thanks and please offer us any feedback!
